Obama’s Medical Marijuana Caregiver

Need we go there, President Obama and Pot? In this case only as far as to use his answer to the officially allowed on record presidential cannabis question: “Did you inhale?”, to which the President responded, “Yes I inhaled, that was the point!”

High Country Caregiver has never critiqued the Federal Government in their stance on medicinal cannabis, but we must borrow Obama’s response ‘yes I inhaled, that was the point’ and extrapolate those words to shed some light on today’s Colorado marijuana scene. The point is it doesn’t matter if it’s medicinal or recreational marijuana. The plant surely doesn’t know the difference. Someone on their last breathes of life could still use cannabis for recreational reasons and a recreational user might have a stomach ache and need cannabis for medicinal reasons. The point is inhale!

Medical marijuana may just be a flavor of marijuana of which there are many. Colorado citizens did what was told and what was right to avoid prosecution for the use of marijuana. Cannabis benefits everyone! Period! Every person that received or is waiting for their medical marijuana card in Colorado benefits from marijuana, and no one on Earth can prove otherwise. It’s no secret that by now it must be getting close to 150,000 Coloradoans waiting for their medical marijuana card from the Colorado CDPHE, who has untold millions of dollars of Colorado patients money who are waiting for their registry card to arrive.

Will Colorado patients continue to see a doctor to use a harmless plant? Do we go to the doctor for a prescription for alcohol? For Colorado to fall into line with new regulations is becoming more and more unrealistic. It has been half a year now since the CDPHE and now the Department of Revenue have been putting together regulations and supposed to be putting together forms, but it’s just not that simple, and probably won’t happen. Cannabis will always just be here. It will help you when you’re sick, take away your pain, make you irae in the morning, and help you fall asleep at night.

It’s Time Colorado to step to the beat of a different drum. Everyone wonders about the feds and Obama, well the man is simple and he already gave you the answer ‘That was the point!’
