Vail Colorado Outlaws Marijuana

Vail Colorado, home of the world famous Ganjala (a gondola for ganja), just won’t tolerate medical marijuana.  Vail decided back in 2003 to end the BBB (Beer, Bongs, and Boomers), and now 7 years later they continue on their rampage of demonstrating to the world their stance on prohibitions.  Vail now outlaws medical marijuana completely within their town limits, forever leaving no option for the hundreds of medical marijuana patients living in the Valley, patients who moved to Vail decades ago because it was a great place to be healthy and enjoy the fantastic cannabis that the ski industry offers.

Vail oversteps their authority on this measure based on reasons as arbitrary as ‘Town Image’, and as Mayor Dick Cleveland said. “We’ve spent how many millions promoting this town?”  “It seems this kind of flies in the face of the tone we’ve tried to set in this community”.  It is sad to see that Colorado has enacted a law that puts a clown like this in charge of peoples health, basically belittling sick people to the level of an inconvenience that the town doesn’t need.

It is expected that Vail will be the target of lawsuits from the well funded group Sensible Colorado and their fierce fighter Brian Vicente.  Perhaps Ritter, Romer, the CDPHE, and the Vail Town Council can all get together for a big snowball fight to determine who really conquered marijuana in the Vail Valley.
