Could the very state of medical marijuana as we know it possibly implode on itself? Mayor Bloomberg of New York announced this week that he “doesn’t believe that there are that many sick people in Colorado or California, and New York won’t entertain discussion of medical marijuana.” Maryor Bloomberg went on to say that “if you want to talk about legalization, let’s talk about legalization because that is a serious topic.” HCC commends the mayor on his stance and brings us to the reality, that in all seriousness, legalization is a lot more realistic than medical marijuana.
California Prop 19 will certainly leave medical marijuana centers in the dust, when Oakland begins full scale retail distribution of marijuana, which the Oakland town Council accepted by vote this week. For $211,000.00 one can open what sounds like the biggest indoor grow known to ganja loving creature on the planet. CA has always led the way with marijuana in the US, and full legalization would be just amazing for California, or at least to spectate from Colorado. Legalization will end the CA medical marijuana debate, and allow medical marijuana research and new strain development to achieve.
Colorado does not have a measure currently for all out legalization of marijuana, but CO will always be high up. Just check out some marijuana photos at marijuanaphotos.co for organic mountain growing herb views and scenery. Caught somewhere between Mayor Bloomberg’s ‘wake up you medhead’ response and all out legalization, Colorado should turn to the Ganja Legalization Mayor’s words and quit the medical mess. The CDPHE, mountain town councils, and everyone who just wants to get stoned can allow CA to import their outdoor grown cannabis which Colorado could certainly use. Take the advise Colorado enough paperwork, legislation, regulation, and criticism of the herb, now’s the time to sit back fire it up and watch what California is doing.
