Medical Marijuana Shakeout

Medical marijuana is shaking out as July ends and the August 1st ‘you better have your application in’ deadline looms.  We have appearances this week from Senator Romer advising that the price of pot is stabalizing or going down in the High Country.  Romer clears up the 2 year residency rule and says that it only applies to those with a vest financial interest, and not line level employees.  Romer also agrees says contrary to what Brian Vicente said that prices for pot are in fact going down, not up for patients.  Romer maintains that the cost of marijuana was always intended to stabilize with CO HB 10 1284 in effect.

Caregivers can now rely on the Hi5 law, keep the numbers down and the plants BIG.  Whether it by previous convictions, no less than 2, or the most invasive give up your rights application to open a center, there may not be many centers in Colorado very soon.  At minimum 50% closure of the current medical marijuana dispensary system will send a wave which will stabilize with the caregiver using the Hi5 law.  5 patient maximum.

Ken Weaver gets the High Country Caregiver Ganja Warrior award for the week for making it onto the CDPHE board only to be blown out of the water by Denver Westword and exposed for past felony convictions and other less than perfect behavior.  Ken made it onto the board though which shows how silly the CDPHE board of 10 is and who they will allow on board.   In times of Amendment 20 vs CO HB 10 1284 who what will happen to patients who need medicine.  The herb must go on!  Plant a seed today.  Upload some photos.  No matter if you get it from dispensary, no matter if they call it a center, you and I we join together, for high atop the mountain come the herb.
