Weed Smoking Music

Marijuana’s presence on the human mind has as much to do with set and setting of usage of the drug as it does on physical properties of the plant itself. A powerful influence, and one that we have control over on a cannabis experience is music. Music and marijuana go back to the beginning of mainstream marijuana use in America during the Jazz era in New Orleans. Louis Armstrong a great American Jazz pioneer said of marijuana and music “We always looked at pot as a sort of medicine, a cheap drunk and with much better thoughts than one that’s full of liquor.”

Music brings everyone together, and marijuana is a social drug, and there is no better experience than sharing in some good music and fine cannabis with a group of people. Music also relaxes and programs the mind and stimulates pleasure zones and creative zones, helps us forget, makes us happy, and along with cannabis music is always twice as good.

For patients and caregivers of medical marijuana, nothing can be as important as having good music going when you medicate. Think about your music performer and know their views on cannabis through their music you can share the experience with that artist over and over, almost as if you were about to pass the ‘douchie on the right’ to him / her.
