New marijuana regulations for caregivers and patients in Colorado state that Centers must have an infused products manufacturing license to make hash. Hash when done properly with the Bubble Bag extraction technique does not involve infusing, but rather extraction. Trichromes grow and mature on marijuana buds, the buds are harvested and frozen for at least 24 hours, and then you are ready to dump your mixture in the Bubble Now wash machine to begin the extraction process. The frozen trichromes bulbous in shape break off of the plant matter while being agitated in the Bubble Now. After about 15 minutes the mixture is drained into a 5 gallon bucket stacked with the 8 Bubble Bags. The advantage to using the wash machine, is that the plant matter is almost entirely contained in the wash machine, and the buckets contain the extracted trichromes and cold water. The first bag, the 220 micron bag and the following green bag are generally wastes. By the time you get to the red bag, you have puddles of usable hash mater that you scrape off with a spoon. The bags are stretched over a 4 quart Pyrex brand mixing bowl and you are left with Bubble Hash, you can see from the photos why the extracted trichromes are called bubble hash. Bubble hash is very potent, and is one of the purest extractions. With marijuana you can not compare apples to oranges, and bubble hash extraction of marijuana is not an infused product, but rather a re-arrangement of trichcromes at most. Enjoy your water hash after a few days of drying / curing our of a Volcano Vaporizer or your favorite glass piece. The most common method of enjoying hash, putting a piece on top of your marijuana bud and torching it works, but the hash burns at a much lower temperature than the bud. It’s better not to mix the two, but just enjoy a few tokes of pure hash that can keep you going for hours. Jah Bless the high country and bubble hash.
