Marijuana Price Down Quality Up

Working on all of these beautiful marijuana photos with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 as prices decline and quality goes up all over Colorado.  If you want good herb, the Colorado High Country is the place to be.  Mountain towns like Alma, Breckenridge, and Vail are just flooded with cannabis as the end of the second year of mass caregiver production finishes up and ski season begins.  Just how cheap is herb going for?  $200 / oz was holding steady as a price for most of the second half of 2010, but as we approach the end of the year, the official street prices are falling to $190 / oz and as low as $150 / ounce whole sale.  Ganja growers are working hard to figure out how to make it.  Those who have always grown soil organic will never have trouble selling their herbs.

Cheap herb and lots of it, who can complain?  It makes small caregivers work harder to produce fine cannabis that will make the cut with all of the competition out there.  Pictured above is White Widow X Trainwreck, a High Country original from seed, which has been healing many for over 2 years now.  Pictured below is the all time mountain favorite strain of marijuana, Purple Erkle X Trainwreck, known as Purple Wreck, this one is from Reserva Privada seed bank, one of the only seed banks from over seas that is still doing a really awesome job.

Growing, flowering, and harvesting high quality cannabis is an art that is appreciated by so many.  You won’t find cannabis of this quality at a dispensary, especially as they are getting shut down, taxed, and monitored by video all over Colorado.  The true spirit of the Colorado heirloom strains lies everywhere in Colorado, not hidden behind regulations.  Just ask, and you will find!
