How to order Colorado marijuana seeds from a seed bank. Rare Dankness seeds must be sent to Europe and then ordered and mailed back to the US. This is a round - a -bout way to get your seeds, but fear not your seeds will arrive in 7 - 14 days.

Colorado medical marijuana laws have led to a proliferation of excellent marijuana seed producers in our great State of Pot. Rare Dankness Seeds won the 2011 High Times Cannabis Cup for their efforts to create awesome Colorado marijuana strains. Rare Dankness won first prize for Sativa! This is huge for putting Colorado on the map as an awesome place for cannabis. RareDankness is getting some very awesome reviews from those who have experienced this seed company.

How does one purchase seeds produced in Colorado? The answer is you can not purchase seeds from Colorado seed companies in Colorado unless from authorized dispensaries. How do I purchase marijuana seeds from Rare Dankness? Though cannabis seeds are available to medical marijuana patients at licensed Colorado dispensaries, most cannabis cultivators aren’t privilege to such convenience and will have to resort to underground means. Here’s how:

Go to Attitude Seed Bank and check out the selection of seeds available from Colorado Rare Dankness marijuana seed bank. Attitude is a clearing house style seed bank and represents many cannabis seed companies from all over Earth. Though it is illegal to import cannabis seeds into the US, from our personal experience, there is never a problem. Pick your seed, place your order and Attitude will get you your seeds. It’s a bit of a round about way to obtain your marijuana seeds especially if you are already in Colorado, but fear not, you will get your seeds in the mail 7 – 14 days later. So what are you waiting for, use Attitude Seed Bank and get your marijuana seeds today! Here is the direct link to: order some Rare Dankness Seeds

Chocolope marijuana grown organic in soil. This Chocolope was feminized and came from Attitude Seed bank and is produced by DNA Genetics cannabis seeds.

Pictured below is Chocolope grown organically from seed in the mountains of Colorado. This seed came from the DNA Genetics Seed Bank via Attitude Seeds and was of the feminized variety. The cannabis was grown in soil and only fed organic nutrients. At this time the Chocoplope is at 48 days of flowering and probably has about 1 more week until harvest. The marijuana photo was taken with a Canon 7d and Canon 580 EX ii wireless flash off camera. The lens used was a Canon 100 mm f/2.8 L is II.

When choosing seeds to grow marijuana some say that feminized produces hermies. High Country Caregiver used to believe this stereotype but after producing cannabis from feminized seed banks in Colorado this has not been found to be the case. Many of the feminized seeds ordered from Attitude Seed Bank and DNA genetics have in fact been superior to their mixed genetic counterparts. It only took popping 2 seeds from the DNA Genetics seed bank to come across this Chocolope keeper. Thanks DNA Genetics. Now if only a picture could convey the smell which above all else this Chocolope is the best smelling herb that has ever been grown in the mountains of Colorado. You won’t find herb of this quality in a dispensary so seek out a quality caregiver in the great pot State of Colorado.

Driving under marijuana is not bad, it's good. Contact your local marijuana distributor today for some fine organic marijuana and start driving.

Driving high, DUID, medical marijuana behind the wheel; these are hot topics in Colorado as the end of summer approaches. News has been filled with CDOT’s new Driving Under the Influence (of medical marijuana campaign) and everyone wants to know ‘Does marijuana impair driving ability’? As an avid marijuana smoker, High Country Caregiver recommends marijuana for driving and advocates that it does not impair. Look at the table below to see the popularity of ‘marijuana and driving’ on google insights:

Why is it that Colorado law makers and marijuana dispensary advocates insist that marijuana impairs ability to drive? There is no evidence to show that marijuana causes accidents or impairs ability to drive or do anything else for that matter. Ignore the pot clowns, Colorado is a great place to get high, have fun, and drive when you have to.

Go with marijuana, just google anything related to marijuana and you will see the rising trends of those who know the use of the cannabis herb. We learned this weed that even race car drivers can drive high, and of course Cheech and Chong can do it, so, so can you! It’s 4:20…..

Pot clowns are everywhere trying to take away your stash and criticizing the very herb that they pretend to protect. Colorado is now the #1 pot clown state in the Country thanks to these fools.

It’s nearly fall harvest 2011 and what has become of marijuana in Colorado in the past year since regulations went into play? Nothing but trouble is the answer to what Colorado’s medical marijuana regulations have brought. As it stands, medical marijuana is the biggest road block to full legalization of cannabis in Colorado and new pot clowns are emerging to make life more difficult. Somewhere between idot + narc = pot clown. Know thy pot clown as the real smokers won’t get fooled again.

If you put 100 marijuana activists in a room and try to figure out the state of marijuana in Colorado you will get 100 different opinions. Patients and Caregivers have been forgotten about in our pot clown state, and the very people who should protect the citizens and their rights, mainly the lawyers and politicians are only trying to get famous writing more confusing laws which ultimately only hurts everyone especially patients. Currently secret meetings are being held in Colorado to make driving with THC in your system a crime. DUI is big business in Colorado for law enforcement, revenue, and defense lawyers, and motivation on all 3 levels is trying to bust you for being a patient once again.

Take for example Breckenridge pot clown Sean McAllister. McAllister law office claims to be a Marijuana advocacy group meaning they are pro-pot. In reality McCallister law office is anti-marijuana, only defending dispensaries and threatening to narc on the very people they supposedly defend; the average pot head. On the surface their agenda may appear true, and genuine but like everyone with a weed agenda in Colorado, there is a flip to this pot clowns’ agenda. Know your pot clown and beware of how they are infringing on your right to use cannabis. The very people who pretend to be helping patients in Colorado may actually be hurting patients, and ignorance is no excuse. See this Westword article for a personal bio of some of the pot clowns who write the laws to get you in trouble and then get to defend you and take your money in the end.

High Country Caregiver, working hard to keep your pipe packed and keeping you out of the rat pack. Have fun and get high today!

Does a real pot clown care about regulations? No because any clown knows he can get his weed where ever he needs. Even in CO HB 11 - 1250 bans edible manufacture of cannabis infused marijuana products, their will always be marijuana in every form in Colorado.

Edible forms of marijuana being banned in Colorado by CO HB 1250 has been a matter of confusion in Colorado. On March 1, 2011 the Colorado General Assembly House adjourns and opens public comment to new medical marijuana rules and regulations in Colorado. Though the edible marijuana ban bill 1250 has gone on to be revised, the revisions indeed do spell out a ban of edible marijuana infused products such as sodas, tinctures, and brownies.

The Colorado State Legislature, the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Colorado Department of Public Health are a real nuisance in the face of hard working cannabis growers just trying to get their jobs done. If 2010 didn’t do enough damage to medical marijuana dispensaries and patients safe access to medicine, the 2011 legislature has the lions share of of trampling on patients rights being voted on now. Shame on the Colorado Legislature and it’s members for coming up with laws to disrupt the cannabis trade in Colorado. Yippies.org is doing a special Shame on the Colorado General Assembly for Attacking Cancer Patients protest at the Capital starting tomorrow, March 1, the day that medical marijuana enforcement and it’s silly badge is supposed to start regulating your THC intake.

High Country Caregiver brought up mother nature’s call to arms for this year’s General Assembly at the Capital pot clown conference, and now Wisconsin rebels are bringing the revolt to Colorado. With news of Egypt, Lybia, and Wisconsin and all of the protests for the right to use cannabis all over the globe, it’s great to see the battle moving to the the Colorado Capital where the legislature and it’s cast of pot clowns is being ‘SHAMED’ into oblivion by 100’000′s of Colorado pot heads who are harming no one. 420 Colorado giving major shout out to those who spit in the face and join the revolt against those who try to regulate marijuana. Marijuana is here for everyone to grow, use and distribute as they wish if they stop by the local pot doc and pick up a card. It’s the will of the Colorado people for over 11 years, now, don’t believe the hype on CO HB 1250 and the other threats to ganja listed below:

1) HB11-1043 Patient Right Elimination “Cleanup” Bill: Will eliminate the remainder of patient rights that the General Assembly didn’t abolish in 2010.

2) HB 11-1250 (Ban Cannabis Edibles): Will eliminate the ability of patients to ingest cannabis and force them to smoke it.

3) HB 11-1261 (THC/DUID): Will force patients to submit to random blood tests for THC if they are stopped by the police. Sets limit at 5ng/mL, far less than most patients have in their bloodstream at all times.

4) SCR-001 (Constitutional Amendment Super-Majority Vote): Would require 60% of the vote to amend the Colorado Constitution. This would make it virtually impossible to fix Colorado’s Medical Marijuana Amendment or to enact any other citizen-sponsored cannabis law reform ballot initiatives.

The time is now to not only throw the pot clowns out of office but to hold them responsible and shame them for their wrong doing to Amendment 20 and the will of Colorado’s pot smokers. Time to burn a phat one rolled up in CO HB 1250 and wonder if a real pot clown gives a toke about regulations.

Growing marijuana outdoors vs indoors is an easy choice to make. Outdoor grown marijuana is always better because it has room to express its majesty, doesn't leave a carbon footprint, and provides a quality irae high for the consumer.

Would you rather go to the tanning bed or go tan on the beach in Acapulco? Cannabis is part of our human anatomy, and just like humans, the cannabis plant would much rather grow under natural light than artificial light. One of the loopholes that cannabis consumers and producers can take advantage of under current Colorado law is to grow cannabis outside. You may find a few seeds in your weed this time of year, but don’t be discouraged, your plants are telling you that it’s almost spring and time to move the garden to the great outdoors. Colorado law says nothing about growing plants outdoors, and cultivators of the herb can avoid regulations like video surveillance of their plants by moving gardens outdoors this year. When was the last time you saw cameras recording a field of plants as they grow?

Pictured below is some bud that was grown outdoors in California, a personal favorite, the Aff Goo. Aff Goo originated in the the eastern highlands of Northern California in Grass Valley, CA. Humboldt County, Trinity County, and Mendocino Counties compose the emerald triangle of California and supply the bulk of medical marijuana around the country, but Grass Valley is also on the weed map for the Aff Goo specifically. What is Aff Goo? The gooiest Afghan strain that has ever been crafted for your smoking pleasure. Aff Goo is a unique strain of cannabis that has an amazing intoxicating smell from the moment you crack the lid on your stash jar. Aff Goo unlike other bud has the bulk of it’s THC content on leaves which are dripping with gooey THC and are often not trimmed away like other buds leaves. Enjoy Aff Goo for a unique marijuana experience. This is the kind of bud that grows great outdoors, in the fresh air or California, Colorado, and other medical states free of to grow into a bountiful expression of the cannabis plant.

Growing outdoors in Colorado is possible almost anywhere, even in the High Country. GreensMan’s Page has some excellent specifics on growing outdoors and indoors. For Colorado cannabis consumers who have been stuck with confined indoor grown buds, free your toking experience, and blaze up some outdoor bud. Take a break from being high and get irae. The carbon footprint left by indoor growing can not be passed to future generations, and now is the time to bring the plants out of the closets and basements, and into the great sunny outdoors of Colorado. Colorado has followed Cali’s lead with marijuana production, and now it’s time to bring the sunlight to Colorado. High Country Caregiver, keeping the High in pot smoking for all the real tokers out there; get irae with some outdoor Cali Bud.

Marijuana caregiver cartels control the price of cannabis and the market share of customers in Colorado. When it comes to dispensary weed vs. caregiver weed, the caregiver wins every time by representing the patient and Amendment 20.

With the Colorado State Legislature in session and cannabis all over the docket, those who observe, interpret, and comment are having some serious 420 fun in 2011. Kathleen Chippi, one such observer brought to attention via Facebook about Wayward Bill who informed the legislature that the marijuana caregivers in Colorado are a cartel. Curious about what a caregiver cartel is? so is High Country. According to Wiki about marijuana cartels:

A cartel is a formal (explicit) agreement among competing firms. It is a formal organization of producers and manufacturers that agree to fix prices, marketing, and production.[1] Cartels usually occur in an oligopolistic industry, where there is a small number of sellers and usually involve homogeneous products. Cartel members may agree on such matters as price fixing, total industry output, market shares, allocation of customers, allocation of territories, bid rigging, establishment of common sales agencies, and the division of profits or combination of these. The aim of such collusion (also called the cartel agreement) is to increase individual members’ profits by reducing competition.

The current marijuana structure being a homogeneous product, in an oligopolistic industry meets the conditions to be controlled by a cartel. Prices for a pound of marijuana in Colorado were often around $5000 2 years ago, and now they are falling to below $3000. Dispensaries with ever increasing restrictions are starting to feel the pressure from the caregiver cartel that really sets the price of cannabis. Dispensaries get the 7-11 type novelty customers that by a ganja soda or a few grams of the latest flavor, but marijuana is a bulk industry, and caregivers selling ounces for less than the marijuana dispensaries in Colorado will always take the bulk of the product. Aside from cost, caregiver weed is better. Caregivers helped to build the marijuana industry, and even though many caregivers now call themselves dispensaries, they are no longer allowed to pick up inventory from the caregivers coming out with the latest strains.

The Colorado Legislature has many meetings scheduled, and dispensary owners are currently bringing up the issue of the caregiver cartels interfering with their business and making it difficult to compete. CO HB 10 – 1284 does nothing to regulate caregivers, only dispensaries, and the caregivers in Colorado are still the ocean of the market that the dispensary owners are forced to swim in and compete with. The dispensary owners will continue to look out for their financial interests, even by degrading the caregivers that helped build their flourishing for profit marijuana enterprise, but the patients will make their choice. When the choice is go to a dispensary and pay more for chemmy weed while you’re video taped vs. going to a caregiver, the choice is simple, caregivers represent the patients, Amendment 20, and most of all the cannabis plant and will always control the price of cannabis and the medical marijuana industry as a whole. Jah Bless the caregiver and long last the cartel. Marijuana Purchase Survey

Marijuana is everywhere in the news across the country and as we turn to be a prosperous nation of cannabis growers, the president left the pot heads out of the Union.

Since Obama neglected to mention cannabis at last night’s State of the Union address, High Country Caregiver takes a toke of El Presidente spliff now that it’s 420 Colorado time and addresses the State of Marijuana in Colorado.

At a time like this with so much uncertainty, we must join together with one common vision….

When children are blamed for the nations drug problems, and the finger is pointed at the sick and weak for using cannabis, it’s time to stand up and say; YES I CAN SMOKE POT

When the Colombian drug cartels have better internet access in the middle of the jungle than most Americans, take a deep inhale.

Now that I have your attention I want to say that the only way Americans will ever be safe from unjust marijuana laws is to legalize cannabis. The madness has to end. Out of everything that you pointed out about changes needed in our country Obama, why didn’t you mention legalizing cannabis. So many proud, educated, able Americans have had their lives ruined by your drug laws, yet you fail to even mention it. Every major newspaper in every major city in your country has done articles on medical marijuana, so certainly you know how we are becoming a unified nation of cannabis producers and can shut the doors on the drug problems from overseas related to cannabis with your ending the drug war. The time is now President Obama legalize marijuana and make America a more successful prosperous nation. We leave you tonight with a vision once had about Obama and weed that was promised and never came true.

Leo’s smoke shack unfortunately has no shortage of garbage, but Mr. Hanky from South Park is seen asking you to ‘pack it out’ of the shack. Prayer flags adorn the high point of the near 8 foot high ceilings, the rafters are full of every utensil needed for a medicated ski break on mountain smoke shack style like only Breckenridge can serve up. The shack builders did an excellent job of installing a stair case to the upper level, designing various lounges withing the enormous structure, and even designed more intimate side rooms for your puffing pleasures.

Smoke shacks have a culture of their own at Breckenridge. Skiing often has it’s own sub-cultures, but nothing is more unifying and enjoyable than the smoke shack experience. Pass to the left, pass to the right, just keep passing, smoke shacks are not to be taken lightly and you will get your fill like it or not if you enter. If you enter Leo’s be sure to roll them Tupac and Notorious Big are watching. It brought to tears to the eyes of this High Country medical marijuana reporter to see such beautiful artwork totally unmolested and see the two legends of rap proudly displayed in such a marvelous structure. Tupac and Biggie Smalls bless this cabin and it’s dwellers.
