Cannabis can not be regulated in Colorado by the Department of Revenue and Matt Cook. The 92 page draft regulations will not help cannabis to grow any better. Only soil grow organic techniques like those described by High Country Caregiver will provide the sought after medicine needed by medical marijuana patients in Colorado.

Colorado finally has an official medical marijuana seed company, ‘Centennial Seed Company LTD’ based in Boulder, Colorado. TuTone had the pleasure of meeting representatives of Centennial Seeds this weekend at the THC Music Festival in Alma. Centennial is the first seed company in Colorado to supply cannabis varieties from seed.

For the past 15 years since kind bud first became widely available in Colorado with strains like Cough, Blueberry, Grape Ape, and LGS (Lime Green Sh**), the Colorado grower has diverged to create its own unique varieties of cannabis. The US Patent Office even said that some of the most interesting names it receives for Trade Marks of marijuana related words come from Colorado.

Wells Fargo used to blaze across the frontier with the horse and wagon getting your load safe to the bank, and you can be sure those cowboys smoked some pot on the 4 month trip to San Francisco where Wells Fargo started. Now banks like Wells Fargo back down away from marijuana dollars citing that they are “in a confusing area between State and Federal law.”

As medical marijuana moves around the country, it may be getting much easier to move around the country with your medical marijuana. TSA security reports that it is “not their business to bother patients with medical marijuana when passengers are flying from one state to another state that allows medical marijuana”

Amanita Muscaria mushroom growing wild in the high country of Colorado near cannabis plants blending in on Main Street Breckenridge. Wild outdoor growth is indicative of a good cannabis harvest nearing with swollen trichromes and colorful herbs of the purple amber varieties.

Many talented bakers, growers, and tenders have moved to Colorado to work directly in the medical marijuana industry. Others such as insurance agents, and accountants have moved to Colorado as support for the thousands of dispensaries.

Regulated medical marijuana centers will now be providing medical marijuana to patients in Colorado. Applications were due last night and anyone else has to wait one year to even think about opening a medical marijuana center in Colorado.

Matt Cook from the Colorado Department of Revenue obviously has no clue about growing marijuana or anything else agricultural related. Cook “We plan to track the entire commodity from seed to sale,” said Matt Cook, senior director of enforcement at the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Caregivers can now rely on the Hi5 law, keep the numbers down and the plants BIG. Whether it by previous convictions, no less than 2, or the most invasive give up your rights application to open a center, there may not be many centers in Colorado very soon. At minimum 50% closure of the current medical marijuana dispensary system

Weld County, Colorado has been particularly aggressive and unwelcoming to persons of Mexican American decent like Lazarus Pino and this week banned access to marijuana under the assumption that they could do so with their new power structure under CO HB 10 – 1284.

Medical marijuana will now be recognized as medicine in the United States by the Veterans Affairs Department. This is the first time that an official US agency has recognized medical marijuana, and rightfully so as no one is more deserving of marijuana as medicine than the men and women who fought to defend America’s cannabis culture.

California Prop 19 will certainly leave medical marijuana centers in the dust, when Oakland begins full scale retail distribution of marijuana, which the Oakland town Council accepted by vote this week. For $211,000.00 one can open what sounds like the biggest indoor grow known to ganja loving creature on the planet.

California has Colorado beat by a mile on trimming and Colorado really needs to step up on taking the time to trim. Too many dispensaries around Colorado have awesome stains that smell and look great, but with a hack trim job.
