Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol 2012 Colorado Initiative 30 must fail. By definition calling cannabis marijuana and comparing it to alcohol shows a major ignorance on the part of the author.

The Great Pot State of Colorado just never stops when it comes to talking about weed. Sure us pot smokers would rather see marijuana legalized so we don’t have to go to the doctor and deal with the CDPHE anymore, but “Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol” is not the answer. Mason Tvert’s Colorado Pot Clown and Activist has gathered 160,000 signatures from registered Colorado voters to get Initiative 30 on the ballot.

Initiative 30 – Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol got it’s signatures by promoting the initiative as ‘legalization’, which it is not. For false advertising the prospect of legalization, High Country Caregiver does not support the initiative. The 3 main reasons for not supporting initiative 30 the false legalization measure are:

It doesn’t allow for outdoor growing of cannabis, this shows the lack of knowledge of the cannabis plant and cultivation by the authors

It particularly attacks 18 – 21 year olds and will lead to more convictions in this age group as Initiative 30 only applies to adults over 21

It creates a new system for prosecuting individuals for driving under the influence of cannabis which as of now is not specified as a DUI in Colorado

It may seem innocent on the surface, but if passed, Initiative 30, Colorado’s false legalization measure would in fact further prohibition in Colorado for an additional 10 years. The measure gives full control of cannabis to the Colorado Department of Revenue, an agency already burdened with regulating medical marijuana, and allows the DOR to set marijuana regulations in the future, up until 2014. Regulate marijuana like alcohol makes no sense at all, by definition, marijuana is not an intoxicating substance, and has medical benefit, unlike alcohol. A similar measure to this one which will be on the 2012 ballot failed in California in 2010 because all of the marijuana growers and medical marijuana businesses voted against it. It’s estimated in Norther California marijuana grow counties like Trinity County and Mendocino County, that 100,000 voters voted it down.

Initiative 30 – Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol 2012 Colorado must fail. By definition alone the measure is faulty. Don’t be fooled fellow pot heads, Mason Tvert is not helping to legalize cannabis, but rather further prohibition. Visit the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol Here.

Ron Paul is the 2012 President of choice for his vies on cannabis and medical marijuana. Basically Ron Paul thinks the drug was is a failure and that States should be able to decide whether to legalize marijuana and make their own weed laws.

Cannabis will be a driving factor for who will be our new president. The past 2 presidential elections were a very close, near 50 / 50 vote for the winning candidate, which is similar to how marijuana election results come in, 50% in favor 50% not. The American voters in all 50 states have been drowned in marijuana news in 2011, many have voted on medical marijuana and legalization and now people are poised to see marijuana become legal in the United States.

President Obama is an unlikely candidate for marijuana office for the next election because of his flip-flop wishy washy stance on medical marijuana alone. Republican choices for President will likely be Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is not a choice for 420 President of the US because of his open disregard of cannabis laws and outspoken negative opinion of any type of legalization of marijuana medical or otherwise.

Who will be the President of choice for a marijuana Nation? Ron Paul gets our vote for president based on his rational marijuana policies. Ron Paul believes cannabis laws should be created by the States alone. His view on the drug war is that it is a total failure and waste of money and the only ones benefitting from the drug war are the drug cartels. If you want to see cannabis prohibition come to an end, vote Ron Paul. Below is a video with Ron Paul’s best quotes supporting the legalization of cannabis to some nice Sublime music.

Flying with medical marijuana, passing through security at the airport with a Colorado medical marijuana card on the way to Arizona.

Thinking of flying with some marijuana for the holidays? The holidays are not supposed to be a venture into sobriety and bringing some cannabis with you on the airplane to your holidaze destination is no different than binging the mistletoe along if you have the medical marijuana card to protect you.

For over ten years, doctors have been providing a buffer zone between patients and law enforcement. Traveling on an airplane is stressful, going through security, finding your gate, being on time, and cannabis is one of those little human helpers that makes traveling all the less painful and easy. Where do you put your stash though when you’re getting ready to board a plane? From personal experience I have always put my herb, lighter, and pipe in carry on, and never had a problem. One time, a TSA security guard did say “normally I would say something about what’s in here, but it smells really good, so go on your way!” That experience was a fun one and in Denver at DIA.

Most recently over the holidaze I brought cannabis with me to my Arizona destination in carry on, and had no problem. On the way home, I had about 2 grams of herb and a gram of hash left, and decided to check my bad with the cannabis in a jar in the bag. As soon as I passed through security I heard an intercom page that I should pick up a courtesy phone. Before I could contact the operator on the phone, I was met by TSA security and Tucson, AZ City Police looking for me. They had my cannabis and pipe in a garbage bag in hand. I presented the authorities with my expired Colorado medical marijuana card which I need to renew, and they seemed relieved to see that. They had a brief ten second discussion amongst themselves, and the youngest officer gave me back my medical marijuana and red card and told me to put it in my carry on. He also asked if he could take a picture of my card and said he wanted to “show the guys” that he had a medical marijuana encounter. Overall they were very easy going and seemed relieved that I had my card and they didn’t have to bust me over Christmas.

The moral of the story is that it is OK to travel out of State to and from other medical marijuana states with cannabis if you have any kind of proof that you are a medical marijuana patient. The experience was a bit unnerving for a second, but getting my stash back, with a ” sorry to bother you”, I couldn’t ask for anything more! It’s great being a cannabis patient and knowing that you can travel with marijuana.

Colorado adds fuel to the medical marijuana bans taking control of patients and dispensaries in the great pot State of Colorado. Could Glenwood Springs be next to ban cannabis?

The marijuana ban in Fort Collins Colorado is now bearing full force on other communities in Colorado, like Glenwood Springs who now have fuel to fire their own local medical marijuana bans. Glenwood Spring is now going about banning cannabis in the same fashion that Ft. Collins did by attacking the youth and saying that medical marijuana dispensaries lead to more teen use. Teachers, councilors and police in the Colorado mountain community gathered to discuss how marijuana use is up by 50% in teens and over 25% of teens report using marijuana on a daily basis. What is the source of all this marijuana? The dispensary system according to specialists in drug abuse.

Colorado’s Attorney General, John Suthers was asked to join the panel of prohibitionists, and his take on the situation is that “the medical marijuana regime in Colorado is nothing more than a state-sanctioned fraud on the part of several thousand patients and a few dozen doctors, in violation of federal law”, said Suthers. It’s interesting to hear the State’s top marijuana lawyer having such a low opinion of the plant that voters decided to legalize. Legalization may be exactly what’s on the mind of the Colorado marijuana attorney though when he says “I’m tempted to support legalization in an effort to get away from the government hypocrisy,” he said. “But I won’t do that … because it would only increase the perception that there is no risk with this drug.”

The confusion of Colorado medical marijuana goes on, only further confused by those who are supposed to enforce the very laws that voters enacted. The medical marijuana dispensary ban in Colorado now has fuel to it’s fire to continue banning marijuana Centers. Will Glenwood Springs and other mountain marijuana destination towns be next?

Chocolope marijuana grown organic in soil. This Chocolope was feminized and came from Attitude Seed bank and is produced by DNA Genetics cannabis seeds.

Pictured below is Chocolope grown organically from seed in the mountains of Colorado. This seed came from the DNA Genetics Seed Bank via Attitude Seeds and was of the feminized variety. The cannabis was grown in soil and only fed organic nutrients. At this time the Chocoplope is at 48 days of flowering and probably has about 1 more week until harvest. The marijuana photo was taken with a Canon 7d and Canon 580 EX ii wireless flash off camera. The lens used was a Canon 100 mm f/2.8 L is II.

When choosing seeds to grow marijuana some say that feminized produces hermies. High Country Caregiver used to believe this stereotype but after producing cannabis from feminized seed banks in Colorado this has not been found to be the case. Many of the feminized seeds ordered from Attitude Seed Bank and DNA genetics have in fact been superior to their mixed genetic counterparts. It only took popping 2 seeds from the DNA Genetics seed bank to come across this Chocolope keeper. Thanks DNA Genetics. Now if only a picture could convey the smell which above all else this Chocolope is the best smelling herb that has ever been grown in the mountains of Colorado. You won’t find herb of this quality in a dispensary so seek out a quality caregiver in the great pot State of Colorado.

Medical marijuana voted out in Fort Collins Colorado. Dispensaries ordered to close within 45 days in this Northern Colorado town.

Today medical marijuana in Fort Collins was destroyed by popular vote. What once was the thriving marijuana metropolis of the North has now been destroyed by a weakly funded popular vote. The people of Ft. Collins have cast their opinion, what will the dispensary owners in Ft. Fun do now? For the record Ft. Collins has 25 medical marijuana centers, 3 marijuana grow locations, and 5 marijuana edible producing facilities. This is a total of 33 businesses and several hundred employees that are out of work now.

The vote said that if passed dispensaries in the Northern Colorado town of Fort Collins would have to close within 90 days. With nearly 10 times the cash to fund the counter offensive, it’s sad to see the loss of so many dispensaries that provided medicinal cannabis to medical marijuana patients being voted out. High Country Caregiver recommends to anyone in Northern Colorado who needs medicine to find a good caregiver to provide your medical marijuana. Caregivers are protected by the constitution and can not be voted out at this point. This is what Fort Collins voters wanted, so support your local marijuana caregiver. Medical marijuana dispensaries are on the landslide out of Colorado at this point when a couple of thousand dollars and a vote is all that it takes to shutter the dispensary model in Colorado.

What would Snoop Dog have to say about this marijuana situation? Just keep smoking!

Medical marijuana is as dead as a door nail now that the Obama Admin has ordered all California medical marijuana dispensaries shut down. What are the implications for Colorado medical marijuana?

In 2009 the answer to ‘why the marijuana dispensary explosion?”, was answered by “well Obama gave dispensaries the green light! Nothing has ever been so convoluted and misunderstood and underrepresented as the President’s take on medical marijuana. The policy never got off the ground and the feds have given several updates to the effect of “ah this is not what we had in mind.”

If you believe that Obama had something to do with the medical marijuana explosion of the past 2 years, today marks the end of medical marijuana in Colorado and California. The Obama Administration has announced that all California medical marijuana dispensaries must close within 45 days. The IRS is already seizing dispensary bank accounts and landlords from at least 16 dispensaries have received harsh warnings about getting their property seized. The times are changing for the dispensaries, the ride has been a ruff one, and now medical marijuana dispensaries are as dead as a door nail.

What implications lie ahead for Colorado with medical marijuana? California lead the way for Colorado and it’s 1000 or do medical outlets, and one would have to assume that Colorado medical marijuana is next for the feds to target. Patients, caregivers, and dispensary owners beware, your medical marijuana card means nothing now. The only good news will be that the previous underground market should now come back and the real smokers out there will still be able to get their herb. Jah Bless!

Driving under marijuana is not bad, it's good. Contact your local marijuana distributor today for some fine organic marijuana and start driving.

Driving high, DUID, medical marijuana behind the wheel; these are hot topics in Colorado as the end of summer approaches. News has been filled with CDOT’s new Driving Under the Influence (of medical marijuana campaign) and everyone wants to know ‘Does marijuana impair driving ability’? As an avid marijuana smoker, High Country Caregiver recommends marijuana for driving and advocates that it does not impair. Look at the table below to see the popularity of ‘marijuana and driving’ on google insights:

Why is it that Colorado law makers and marijuana dispensary advocates insist that marijuana impairs ability to drive? There is no evidence to show that marijuana causes accidents or impairs ability to drive or do anything else for that matter. Ignore the pot clowns, Colorado is a great place to get high, have fun, and drive when you have to.

Go with marijuana, just google anything related to marijuana and you will see the rising trends of those who know the use of the cannabis herb. We learned this weed that even race car drivers can drive high, and of course Cheech and Chong can do it, so, so can you! It’s 4:20…..

Rhino Seeds seed bank. Bringing marijuana seeds to the entire world through discreet shipping.

Some people like to collect cannabis seeds while others, who live in a country where it is legal to do so, are lucky enough to be able to grow them into bulging, THC dripping, delicious cannabis plants that have all manner of great medicinal properties. White Widow, Super Silver Haze, Afghan Kush, AK47, these are all names which fill most cannabis enthusiasts eyes with glee at the thought of what these seeds could be grown into. And when they can get their hands on them, that is exactly what they would like to do.

Unfortunately though, to get your hands on the exact seeds you want, can be quite tricky. There are a growing number of cannabis seed export businesses springing up across the globe which work hard to source the best seeds and to provide them to people who want them. Here is a quick guide on how you could set up your own cannabis seeds export business.

Sourcing

First things first, you need to find a place where you are going to get your cannabis seeds from. This might be from your back garden, it might be from a single seed bank who will produce all your seeds for you, or it may be from multiple small growers who will sell you their particular brand (or brands) of seeds wholesale. The most important thing is that it is a 100% reliable source that will not dry out just when you get a big order in or you could take a big hit to your reputation.

Website

When you have your source of great seeds, you need to find some way to tell the masses about what you have on offer. The best way to do this is of course with a website. Keep your site very simple and easy to use and make sure you have a site which people can pay securely with so they don’t get scared off by a dodgy looking payment portal.

Pricing

Try to gauge your pricing against your competitors and offer as much of a discount as you can on bulk orders. Also, make it clear that all your orders are dispatched discreetly so people don’t worry that they’re going to have a big green leaf shaped box left on their door step.

Above all when starting your cannabis seeds export business, focus on what your potential importers want and also make sure you have a legal disclaimer to protect yourself.
