Marijuana election results for Summit County Colorado 5% tax increase on mmj. Marijuana tax in Breckenridge and Frisco raised by popular vote.

More Colorado marijuana election results are in. The biggest news is that marijuana has been banned in Fort Collins and the 33 licenses pending for dispensary owners there will be thrown in the trash by the Department of Revenues new Queen of the Pot Clowns Laura Harris.

In Summit County Colorado voters and dispensaries took the opposite approach to further legitimatize marijuana, by increasing tax on it. The marijuana communities of Frisco and Breckenridge known for world class skiing and snowboarding and excellent mountain grown cannabis have decided to raise taxes by another 5% on medical marijuana. Now patients at dispensaries will have to pay close to 15% tax on their resort town medical marijuana purchases. Taxing something that is still somewhat in legal limbo is probably the best way of making marijuana seem more legal. Dispensary owners in the mountains can now say “hey it’s legal I pay my taxes.” A 15% tax on cannabis is sure to offend many patients and drive patients to find new sources of marijuana like caregivers. The increase in tax was supported by roughly 75% of voters in Frisco in Breckenridge. Not everyone in the resort towns buys weed from dispensaries and obviously those that don’t just want to see more tax for their community and then call it good.

The caregiver – patient model is the only constitutionally protected model of cannabis growing and distribution in Colorado and has been the only model not to be attacked by the general public and the State Capital.

Pot clowns are everywhere trying to take away your stash and criticizing the very herb that they pretend to protect. Colorado is now the #1 pot clown state in the Country thanks to these fools.

It’s nearly fall harvest 2011 and what has become of marijuana in Colorado in the past year since regulations went into play? Nothing but trouble is the answer to what Colorado’s medical marijuana regulations have brought. As it stands, medical marijuana is the biggest road block to full legalization of cannabis in Colorado and new pot clowns are emerging to make life more difficult. Somewhere between idot + narc = pot clown. Know thy pot clown as the real smokers won’t get fooled again.

If you put 100 marijuana activists in a room and try to figure out the state of marijuana in Colorado you will get 100 different opinions. Patients and Caregivers have been forgotten about in our pot clown state, and the very people who should protect the citizens and their rights, mainly the lawyers and politicians are only trying to get famous writing more confusing laws which ultimately only hurts everyone especially patients. Currently secret meetings are being held in Colorado to make driving with THC in your system a crime. DUI is big business in Colorado for law enforcement, revenue, and defense lawyers, and motivation on all 3 levels is trying to bust you for being a patient once again.

Take for example Breckenridge pot clown Sean McAllister. McAllister law office claims to be a Marijuana advocacy group meaning they are pro-pot. In reality McCallister law office is anti-marijuana, only defending dispensaries and threatening to narc on the very people they supposedly defend; the average pot head. On the surface their agenda may appear true, and genuine but like everyone with a weed agenda in Colorado, there is a flip to this pot clowns’ agenda. Know your pot clown and beware of how they are infringing on your right to use cannabis. The very people who pretend to be helping patients in Colorado may actually be hurting patients, and ignorance is no excuse. See this Westword article for a personal bio of some of the pot clowns who write the laws to get you in trouble and then get to defend you and take your money in the end.

High Country Caregiver, working hard to keep your pipe packed and keeping you out of the rat pack. Have fun and get high today!

uStream 420 marijuana Channel and as marijuana grows so does the technology around it to bring you your 420. Social streaming is important to our ganja community to find out the great smoke spots and call out the pot clowns trying to change marijuana laws in Colorado.

Keeping up with marijuana technology is as important as keeping up with ever evolving marijuana laws and the growing plant. One of the most important pieces of technology that has kept this blog going is the iPhone 4 and its ever evolving platform and apps. What’s new in 2011 for iPhone 4 marijuana technology?

Geo Location on the iPhone 4 has led to High Country Caregiver’s very popular smoke shack map. Every time a photo is taken with the iPhone 4 built in camera, the GPS in the iPhone adds data that can be loaded into Google Maps. Google maps gives your 420 smoke location it’s own pin on Google Maps which you can right click on and save to or create your very own map. This is how the maps are created on 420.co. Once you create your Google Map, Google conveniently gives you code that you can copy and paste into your website or blog as TuTone does. Geo Located photos will continue to be fun and cool, but as marijuana evolves, so does technology which is why iPhone and Apple are so great!

Blogs are popular, Facebook is great, but a web developer must see beyond the horizon to the next big thing! youTube is falling behind a little, iPhone 4 came with a youTube app built right in for viewing videos, which has made youTube very popular, through user generated video content. youTube has the edge above all others for displaying content on portable devises, but uStream has youTube beat when it comes to streaming live video. The new uStream 2.0.1 App was released on 3.12.11, and allows users to stream live, and videos are saved to the uStream.com cloud, not the local iPhone devise, saving precious iPhone drive space, thanks to cloud technology. The uStream app on iPhone 4 allows the user to stream live, partake in chat room conversation, and post to social apps all from the live recording screen. The possibilities for the Colorado marijuana community are growing with technology just as our medicinal plant does. What are some of the possibilities with the iPhone 4 to bring Colorado pot to the world?

Ge0-Locate Smoke Spots

Stream live legalization events

call out the pot clowns at the State Legislature

Marijuana and the technology around marijuana continue to grow in Colorado. It’s not just the growers and the suppliers of the drug that bring you your 420. 420 Colorado now streams marijuana events to you and leaves them available for viewing on TuTone’s uStream 420 marijuana channel for archival viewing of marijuana events.

It's spring in the Rockies and decisions must be made on whether to grow indoor or outdoor cannabis in the High Country. Enjoy beautiful marijuana photos and photography of macro buds on www.marijuanaphotos.co

Beware the ides of March says the Mr. Nice from Sensi Seeds cannabis plant. It’s spring in the Rockies and decisions must be made. Grow cannabis indoors for the summer or make the big move to High Country mountain outdoor cannabis cultivation. Outdoor cannabis cultivation may be able to be achieved with the right strains, but in March it’s still indoor cannabis cultivation season in Colorado.

Great cannabis photos can be achieved with a good macro lens like the Canon 100 mm f/2.8 is ii and a DSLR camera like the Canon 7D. A good a camera and a good macro lens are only half of the equation of good cannabis photos and macro photography work in general. With so much marijuana in Colorado it’s about time to start documenting all of this beautiful work through decent photography. TuTone has found that getting the flash off of the camera is key to creating great shadows and highlights in the macro kind bud photography. A great flash to use is the Canon Speed Lite 580 EX ii for a macro flash. The Canon 7D mounted to a Gitzo tripod, and set to wireless flash control allows the 580 EX to work wireless, off camera hand held, close to the bud being photographed. The off camera configuration for the flash allows for wonderful cannabis photos like the Mr. Nice pictured below.

Marijuana photos are a pleasing and healing way to enjoy the cannabis plant. If you haven’t yet, be sure to stop by our marijuana .co domain www.marijuanaphotos.co where you can register and upload your own photos, learn about marijuana photography, and download high resolution cannabis photos for your blog or Facebook page. Cannabis should be free for all to share, and of course the photos on marijuanaphotos.co are available for your full enjoyment and download.

Growing marijuana from seed has it's advantages. Once you weed out the hermaphrodites and male varieties, from your garden, you can find a gem like this Centennial Further from Colorado.

High Country Caregiver awards for ganja goddesses and ganja warriors are few and far between these days in Colorado so to find a winner in the Colorado marijuana dispensary industry we have to turn to the plant itself. Centennial Seed’s further gets a ganja award for Feb. 2011. It’s been a selective trial and error process, weeding out the hermaphrodites and males, to find a gem of a producer amongst the Centennial Seeds seed packs, but Further (PGP X Purple Rhino) has finally delivered and is well on her way to making it into your lungs and brain. Weed effects many in different ways, but watching an original Colorado marijuana strain develop into a masterpiece has an effect that even smoking marijuana doesn’t compare to. The Centennial Seed adventure began at the Alma, Colorado THC festival this past summer when TuTone discovered this Colorado seed company, and now 8 months later the genetic selection efforts are paying off.

According to GreensMan’s Page: “You may not be able to tell what type plant you’re smoking, but you can tell what you like. Choosing marijuana seeds from high-quality marijuana will grow into high-quality marijuana plants. If you like the grass you’re smoking, you’ll like the grass you grow.” Though the Centennial Seeds are born in Colorado, GreensMan goes on to describe the origins of cannabis and reminds us that here in Colorado we should remember that the lineage of our cannabis goes way back according to GreensMan: “The origin of your grass even if you knew it for certain, has little to do with whether it will be dynamite or worthless smoke. In both India and Brazil, hemp is grown which is worthless for marijuana. Likewise, extremely potent marijuana plants grow which are useless for hemp fiber. These plants are sometimes found growing in adjacent fields. Most of the fine-quality marijuana varieties develop in those countries nearer to the equator. How much this had to do with environmental conditions or cultural practices is unknown. In either case, marijuana traffic has been so heavy that fine varieties now grow all over the world. For example, in the United States thousands of people now grow varieties from Mexico. These fine varieties originated in Asia and Africa, and many were brought to Mexican farmers by American dealers during the 1960s. As more farmers grew these new varieties, the quality of Mexican grass seeds imported to the United States improved.” Here we are in 2011 andl people are speaking of varieties such as Roughneck, Further, and Django as if they were created in Colorado, but let’s not forget that these little ganja warriors began on the other side of the world and only now present themselves for your marijuana smoking pleasures and pain relief.

Growing marijuana outdoors vs indoors is an easy choice to make. Outdoor grown marijuana is always better because it has room to express its majesty, doesn't leave a carbon footprint, and provides a quality irae high for the consumer.

Would you rather go to the tanning bed or go tan on the beach in Acapulco? Cannabis is part of our human anatomy, and just like humans, the cannabis plant would much rather grow under natural light than artificial light. One of the loopholes that cannabis consumers and producers can take advantage of under current Colorado law is to grow cannabis outside. You may find a few seeds in your weed this time of year, but don’t be discouraged, your plants are telling you that it’s almost spring and time to move the garden to the great outdoors. Colorado law says nothing about growing plants outdoors, and cultivators of the herb can avoid regulations like video surveillance of their plants by moving gardens outdoors this year. When was the last time you saw cameras recording a field of plants as they grow?

Pictured below is some bud that was grown outdoors in California, a personal favorite, the Aff Goo. Aff Goo originated in the the eastern highlands of Northern California in Grass Valley, CA. Humboldt County, Trinity County, and Mendocino Counties compose the emerald triangle of California and supply the bulk of medical marijuana around the country, but Grass Valley is also on the weed map for the Aff Goo specifically. What is Aff Goo? The gooiest Afghan strain that has ever been crafted for your smoking pleasure. Aff Goo is a unique strain of cannabis that has an amazing intoxicating smell from the moment you crack the lid on your stash jar. Aff Goo unlike other bud has the bulk of it’s THC content on leaves which are dripping with gooey THC and are often not trimmed away like other buds leaves. Enjoy Aff Goo for a unique marijuana experience. This is the kind of bud that grows great outdoors, in the fresh air or California, Colorado, and other medical states free of to grow into a bountiful expression of the cannabis plant.

Growing outdoors in Colorado is possible almost anywhere, even in the High Country. GreensMan’s Page has some excellent specifics on growing outdoors and indoors. For Colorado cannabis consumers who have been stuck with confined indoor grown buds, free your toking experience, and blaze up some outdoor bud. Take a break from being high and get irae. The carbon footprint left by indoor growing can not be passed to future generations, and now is the time to bring the plants out of the closets and basements, and into the great sunny outdoors of Colorado. Colorado has followed Cali’s lead with marijuana production, and now it’s time to bring the sunlight to Colorado. High Country Caregiver, keeping the High in pot smoking for all the real tokers out there; get irae with some outdoor Cali Bud.

Colorado Department of Revenue Pot Clowns will be meeting today to hear public input regarding the 99 pages of marijuana regulations that were released last month. Overgrow is over and now it's time to over throw the government.

Growing marijuana back in the day involved learning from a handful of people that knew how to do it or learning from an old internet website overgrow.com which has been extinct since it mysteriously vanished years ago. It’s 2011 and finding information about growing weed is really easy. Now days you can even find someone to grow your weed for you, a caregiver, so obtaining weed is easy, and underground internet grow websites are completely above ground like this one teaching you everything you need to know about the State of Weed in America.

With overgrow not as important, what’s important now is an overthrow of the government. It’s nice to see peaceful players like ACT420.org organizing meetings and allowing patients to speak about there concerns, but this is not getting anywhere with helping patients. Today is yet another Colorado Department of Revenue hearing where the public will be given a chance to give input on CO HB 1284 and the 99 pages of regulations that #1 Pot Clown Matt Cook is unleashing on Colorado pot heads. ACT420 has taken the time to shred the 99 pages of regulations, especially the parts about cameras, fingerprinting patients, and other invasions of privacy. The organization has a template for how to address the board at the DOR and be cordial at the meeting. This has gone on for too long. It’s predicted that ‘The Department’ will not listen to any of this the rules will be passed as they are regardless. There is no hope of achieving anything with the Pot Clowns as the DOR ACT420, give it up and get real and quit fooling patients in Colorado. Weed is everywhere, don’t play into the traps of the regulations that will only harm patients and violate their privacy. The Pot Clowns will interfere with your weed, but this pot head knows when it’s Mother Nature’s Call to Arms!

Pot Clowns up in Arms

Before CO HB 10 – 1284 was passed, the State Legislature allowed the same public input, and nothing was done in favor of patients or to protect them. The solution to the current problem is not to renew your medical marijuana card, don’t give the CDPHE or DOR any more money and don’t play their game. Patients and caregiver’s rights are already protected under Amendment 20, and no government body shall interfere. Since the government is interfering with cannabis in Colorado, it’s time to OVER THROW the government, not work with them in helping make rules to keep control of the people. Thursday and Friday’s meetings don’t need peaceful input, they need a lynch mob that will put an end to those interfering. Would you still purchase from a dispensary SURVEY HERE

UPDATE:

12:50 PM: According the the Denver Post only about 30 people testified at the DOR medical marijuana hearing today, most of them dispensary owners, edible manufacturers, and attorneys. According to a Westword interview with attorney Rob Corry not many patients will be going to dispensaries anymore after their purchases are recorded and tracked by law enforcement.

Smoke shack tour and map to the marijuana smoke shacks at Breckenridge ski resort. Enjoy some on mountain 420 while skiing or snowboarding.

2 More Breckenridge Shacks CJ’s, and the Mushroom Hut have been added to the map. The mushroom Hut Smoke shack on the north side of Peak 10 can be a welcome retreat from the large and often crowded Leo’s smoke shack, often hosting smoke outs with 100 people or more. You have to take a bunch of hard rights away from Leo’s shack into the deep powder and trees to find the legend mushroom hut. The map to the Mushroom Hut smoke shack can be seen below. With all of the beautiful art like this wood carved psychedelic mushroom, TuTone brought the Canon 7D and decided to do some HDR Smoke Shack photos for your weekend riding / smoking pleasure.

CJ's Smoke Shack Peak 9

The most famous of all shacks and the shack that has been around for the longest at Breckenridge is of course CJ’s marijuana smoke shack. At any given time if your stash is running low you can always make your way over to CJ’s smoke spot (see map below) and score some green herb to put in your glass pipe and smoke while snowboarding. CJ’s was in great shape today, with out all of the usual trash. The HDR smoke shack marijuana photo was captured using 3 shots with a wide angle lens. The photos are imported into Adobe Photoshop Lightoom 3, and merged to HDR in Photomatix Pro. HDR is great for these on mountain Breckenridge shacks because HDR has a restorative property of bringing these old mysterious place back to life.

The snow has been great at Breck this season and it’s a great time to get out and 420 on the hill. Load the Google Map into your iPhone 4 or Droid, and start finding the many smoke shacks today. Jah Bless the High Country of Colorado. Remember to roll them like Dre and Snoop could roll up at any time!

Searching for more smoke shacks at Breckenridge ski resort on Peak 10 brings snowboarding to the Leo’s shack, a place of mystery. Leo’s smoke shack like all the smoke shacks at Breckenridge has evolved over the years as a great place to relax with friends in a quiet secluded like mined location on the mountain. When it’s time to unwind head to Leo’s Smoke Shack on the North Side of Peak 10 at Breckenridge. The smoke shack is about halfway down the side of the mountain buried in some somewhat annoying hard to navigate trees, but a map is provided below through Google maps to help you navigate to your next smoke spot.

Inside Leo's Smoke Shck

Leo’s smoke shack unfortunately has no shortage of garbage, but Mr. Hanky from South Park is seen asking you to ‘pack it out’ of the shack. Prayer flags adorn the high point of the near 8 foot high ceilings, the rafters are full of every utensil needed for a medicated ski break on mountain smoke shack style like only Breckenridge can serve up. The shack builders did an excellent job of installing a stair case to the upper level, designing various lounges withing the enormous structure, and even designed more intimate side rooms for your puffing pleasures.

Mr. Hank from South Park Makes a Visit

Smoke shacks have a culture of their own at Breckenridge. Skiing often has it’s own sub-cultures, but nothing is more unifying and enjoyable than the smoke shack experience. Pass to the left, pass to the right, just keep passing, smoke shacks are not to be taken lightly and you will get your fill like it or not if you enter. If you enter Leo’s be sure to roll them Tupac and Notorious Big are watching. It brought to tears to the eyes of this High Country medical marijuana reporter to see such beautiful artwork totally unmolested and see the two legends of rap proudly displayed in such a marvelous structure. Tupac and Biggie Smalls bless this cabin and it’s dwellers.

Merry Christmas to all the ganja tokers of the world. Bong Hits for Jesus and to all a jolly jolly good night.

As we gather with our loved ones this holidaze season and partake in our Christmas rituals let’s not forget the history of Christmas. Take a Bong Hit for Jesus and think about how he likely smoked large blunts of fine East Nile Plateau herb rolled in dank pyrus. Gather with your loved ones, and if there is one who has not smoked herb, introduce them to a toke or two. This is not the time for edibles and vaporizers, do it the way Jesus did, break out the 3 footer and roast some dope for the holidaze. Merry Christmas blaze to all and to all three foot bong hitters a jolly jolly good night. Remember you misses who loves her mistletoe……alright stop, what is mistletoe, it could surely only be medical marijuana in your brand new Christmas wished pipe.
